The following are current WIPs (Works In Progress) that
are in different stages of being finished. Most of them are completed novels but
need some major editing. Okay, I'htha finished at 52k but the last 20-35k was
absolute drivvel and I deleted about 30k of that story. Still, I have the
outline of how the story is to go and to be finished. The re-write should be easy
enough. (he says with tongue in cheek!) I'm not happy with Zilli or Mystyk Mtns
either. Both of them will require an intense amount of work to make it saleable.
Nonetheless, I am happy with the 1st chapters and that is what I am offering you
as an excerpt to read.
As an update (August 2009) I am currently beating the keys to get my "Cats of Yorel"
story finished. It will be a definite opus since it will entail a total of 5, yes,
you read that correctly, FIVE books. I am on the introduction book now; then it
will be to clean up (read that as totally re-write) the next 3 books since they were lost
during the years that they've lingered on cyberspace. I was able to find a printout
of the original story and outlines which means I need to read all that and just
start from scratch with a total re-write. It should be fun. (I keep telling myself that!)
You may notice that some of them read "NaNoWriMo" which stands
for National Novel Writing Month and is held in November. The object of
NaNoWriMo is to write 50k words in 30 days, which I have accomplished each year.
It's a blast.

A long-term major work-in-progress
I had originally named it Cats of Yorel, but was told that cats are ho-hum having
been done way too many times. So I renamed it Tri-Gorgons but it just didn't work
for me. So back to the original. If the publisher wants to change it, then it
will get changed. Also, this originally started as one book, expanded, then
exploded and I am trying to ascertain the best method of moving forward -- 3 books
or 4 books and which way to tell the tale.
Cats are showing up and the legends have foretold of the events. The
King will return. Strangers from the extreme west have come into the lands. The
current king is controlled by the sorceror. The young prince is concerned about
the future. Add a thief, a stableboy, an old crone, love and the magic begins.
